Candon Ilocos sur

A quick side trip to Candon Ilocos Sur! :)

Candon welcome Sign

Trivia: The name of the city was derived from the now rare "candong" tree.
Candon City is a 4th class city in the province of Ilocos Sur.
Candon City is the center of the 2nd district of Ilocos Sur. Government District offices are all located in the city.

We chanced upon the beautiful sight in Narvacan, A beautiful chapel in the middle of the sea.  This is the coastal area of Sulvec which they call Paraiso ni Juan.
The heat of the sun in Ilocos help me achieved my wish to have the sun-kissed skin this summer! :)

Darker ! and loving it! :D
Candon is  known for making the heaviest and largest Kalamay in the world! too bad, we are running out of time to  look for those Kalamay. tsk! But some folks offer us some green grapes( which by the way taste good that i end up buying 3 more packs!) they also let us try some unknown fruit (for me), which taste much like "iBa or kamias".
Grapes! :)
Grapes fever! :D

the Unknown fruit. haha :)
Our version of abbey road. the Candon highway style. haha :D

one of my most loved pic on our North Trip :)
*we've created happy moments at candon, it maybe a super quick side-trip, but the happiness? priceless! :)

Im coming back to Candon! :)
