Batac, Ilocos Norte

From Paoay, we went to the  municipality of BATAC. The famous ancestral home of Ferdinand Marcos turned museum is located here.

i love this! thus giving me the 'yabang' attitude being  a schoolmate of the Late president. HAHA:D

Aside from different memorabilia's and  collections hang on walls, there are also old films being showed at one of the rooms downstairs and other collections of gowns and shoes from Madam Imeda Marcos.

Beside the ancestral home lies the late dictator's waxed remains. The inside atmosphere was gloomy and dim lighted with fresh white flowers surrounding the glass coffin that encased the late President's lifelike wax figure. The experience was kind of eerie. The preserved figure looked really true to life you could almost convince yourself that the president only succumbed in to a deep sleep.

yep! no camera's allowed inside
ohhh by the way, Imelda built a house beside the Mausoleum, It's a Spanish inspired house. what an infinite gesture of love. awww!♥

Let me just add:

I admire his brilliance, and his looks. he's gwapo. :)

We ended our tour and waited for a  mini bus that is bound to Vigan. before leaving, My  fanatic blood for Marcos never end, despite how history books wrote about the late President Marcos, he still did a lot of great things for the country. :D
