Tagaytay, Cavite City

When you can't stand the summer heat, try to cool down and have fun! :)

Lhaze who is my girlfriend slash kumare slash tropa slash lahat na was so eager to have a summer bonding with the rest of the Ramosians. We end up planning to have a summer bonding away from the hustle and bustle of the city, ohh lemme add--away from the summer heat of the big city :)

Aside from the summer capital of the Philippines which is Baguio, there's other alternative places where you can spend your weekend. somewhere nearer, somewhere cheaper, yet same almost Baguio experience. I'm talking about Tagaytay!

Tagaytay is only 55 km (34 mi) away from Manila via Aguinaldo Highway. Tagaytay is the quickest  escape from manila.Lovely weather.Scenic views.

It's a 3hrs drive From Manila. But not for me and aldrich, coz seriously, it takes us forever goin' there.HAHA :) [anyway, it's another story]

How we get there? A jeep ride from pasay rotonda bound to Alabang. basically it will only take less than 30minutes without traffic to reach alabang. however, heavy traffic hit us!  so after more than 1hour pasay to alabang jeep ride (imagine?!) we reached Alabang, we then took a Bus bound to Sta.Cruz, that's almost 30minutes of bus ride.

(ohh i forgot, we will meet up first with Lhaze and kieth @WalterMart Calamba. (kaya ayun mas napatagal byahe).

from Calamba, there are van and buses going to tagaytay and cavite area and it takes 45minutes of travel.

In time for lunch when we arrived at Tagaytay Picnic Groove. Majoy, our girlfriend and mah kumare too is already waiting for us. she's with Rex & baby trixie (husband & baby).

majoy, rex and baby trixie :)
We had our lunch at a resto inside the area, Alamat resto & cafe. food prices ranges from P175 to P500. so just a tip, you can eat outside or bring some food if your on a tight budget. as for us, we have chips, sofdrinks and a bday cake for majoy.
(happy birthday majoy!)

@Alamat resto & cafe
we rented a cottage that cost us P150. but good thing about it, is that once u have the cottage receipt, you can use any other cottages in the whole area as long as its vacant.

Perfect place for family or friends bonding. a great venue for thrill seekers-- cable car and zipline. fees for these activities ranges from Php100/pax for cable car and Php200-Php300/pax for zipline. You can also try the Fish Spa which will cost you around Php200. They also have boat ride, horse backriding which will cost you Php100 for an hour or you can opt for just picture taking with the horse for only Php20.

The place has lot of great views where everyone can do picture taking or to just relax, to unwind with no pressure at all ;)
view decks located from different area let tourists see a clear view of taal lake and taal volcano.

Tagaytay trip was epic, shared genuine laughter's & giggles with good friends.
there's really that certain time that too many doesn't always equate to being merrier, there are times that a few old good friends is all you need to create a one hell of happy moment in your life that you will treasure forever. :)
