My McLisse FANmily

Unexpected friendship

I have been with McLisse family for more than two years. I was a silent fan then and all I can do is to lurked and stalked fandom members of then a rising loveteam inside the famed yellow house of ABS-CBN – Pinoy Big Borther House-

McLisse plays a big role in creating an unexpected friendship. Meet my GC21 fanMily!

Our bonding moments are not only during “Ganap” like Mall show, Book Launch, Tapings, Out of town shows or concert, we also have our own ganaps even there’s no ganaps.haha

Last Sunday we paved our way to Regina Rica in Tanay Rizal. We are inspired by another group I’m with – The Prayer Warriors- as per them, the best way to bond? Is trough praying. So after waking up early and meeting up in Coffee Bean Gateway, we are now all ready for almost 1 and a half hours of road trip!

We had some burger and fries at McDo Drive-thru and we enjoyed the scenery going to Tanay. Sorry ang loyal namin sa McDo, dahil endorser lang naman ang #McLisse. hahaha
Naipush talag na maisama ang commercial.haha sereeh nemen.

Green lush mountain ranges and sturdy trees along the way, what a sight!

I had no sleep yet that time, I am planning to have a nap during the road trip, yet being with crazy people sleeping is impossible! Magulo, maingay! But it was fun!

Into the womb

This was my third time visiting Regina Rica, I still feel blessed and at peace whenever I’m here. Our driver had to look for a parking space while the rest of us went to the information center, Jas and Quennie had to use the green skirt as they are wearing shorts, yep in this area No shorts allowed.

From afar you will already see the Grand statue of Mama Mary, ohhh she is so beautiful.

The Regina Rosarii Institute for Contemplation in Asia (Rica) in Sitio Aguho, Tanay, Rizal, is a 13.5-hectare place of sanctity for those who want to have a holy pilgrimage, or just a place for peace and quiet. The area is run by the Dominican Sisters of Regina Rosarii. It was founded in 2005 by Sister Mary Epifania F. Brasil, OP

As you go higher, you will have a better view of the area, it was full of green! Very peaceful!

While traversing the zigzag narrow path going up, we had some photo shots.

Inside SULOD

Under Mama Mary’s Mantle,we listen for a small talk on how and what to expect when going up the “womb”, they called it as SULOD. The sisters in charge will also teach attendees the meditation and prayers that will take place upstairs. The pre-prayer/medidation will last for about minutes, after which you will be given a shoe bag where you need to put your shoes or slippers. Going inside Mama Mary womb, you need to be barefoot, should be silent and no picture taking.

There is a small winding stairs that you need to thread to reach SULOD, once inside the womb, you can really feel the presence of the Holy Spirit. We spent about 10minutes inside –spent it for praying for personal intentions and prayers for #McLisse.

After the prayers, there is an exit at the rear side of the womb, another flight of stairs, The stairs here has a massaging effect, that’s also one reason you need to be barefoot because upon exiting you will use this stair.

Light the Candle

I always feel the wishes will be granted if you light a candle while you pray, and I feel emotional when I pray after lighting a candle.

In this area, different colors of candles correspond to your intention. P20.00 each candle.

There was a gazebo where the holy family was sleeping, we also offer our silent prayer for our family and for #McLisse.

Chapel and Well

In front of the chapel was a man-made well, some will either wash their hands or dink or put some of it in a bottle, this was said to be holy water.

We had tour the rest of the vicinity and was amazed how vast the area. There are some constructions going on, based on the signage’s I’ve read they will build a few more structures for retreat house.

I would love to stay here for soul-searching, awww!

Where’s Next?!

As we look for a resto or carinderia to ease the hunger, we thought of going somewhere else as the day is still young, it was just lunchtime.  In the middle of thick forest and mountain ranges, just along the highway was a small carinderia, Yey Lunch time!
After the tummy-filling lunch, we are now thinking of where to go.. Tagaytay? Too far..

“Tondo! Lets’ visit Mccoy!” – Quennie

We can actually go to Tondo, yet the traffic there will be so heavy, and it’s a Sunday so we will give it to Mccoy as its their family day, it was also Tito Mark’s Bday that time (Mccoy’s Dad)

Hanging Bridge and 360° view

I suggested that we go to Antipolo, that’s the nearest I can think of. I told them that there is this place called cloud9 which offers a 360° of Antipolo and an eyeview of the Metro. They are all excited checking it in google and they are all screaming crazy as they saw how nice the place is

Our car follow a narrow road going up after we saw the sign CLOUD9, when we reached the top, we are like kids giggling as we saw the hanging bridge. Mixed emotions! OMG I can do it! Haha
There is a P50.00 fee for you to use the bridge that will lead you to the 360° view deck, and yes the bridge is the only way to go there.haha

There was a long line, but such long lines wont bored anyone going here, as there was another view deck just near the resto where you can also take some selfies and groupies.

The said resto was quite big, as I looked around, I’m seeing mostly Barkadas and families are here, nice bonding place!

It’s our turn now! Geeez this made my knees shiver! Haha
It was not that scary, well atleast for me its not. But not for Kheii! She literally wants to walk out.haha

Reaching the view deck is an achievement! Groupies here and there! Selfie here and there!

It was nice here, the cool wind kissed us. The mountain range of Antipolo was beautiful to look at, and the busy city seems to be so quite from up here.

I  love to be back here, Il try to eat in their resto, the food seems to be good and I would love to try the hanging bridge again and again and again.hahaha

Going down from the view deck will allow you to passed-by to some paintings, There are some rooms where you can view whats inside – It was an artist rooms complete of their paints, murals and all. painting exhibit feels.

As we go down further, we reached a small lanai with a nice garden. We took some photos  and spent a few more time to enjoy the place. It was an amazing experience, and up there was just too much of adventure!

Ending the Day at BGC

I got different set of friends, and when I am with my friends, I don’t want to end the day anymore…

It’s like I don’t want to end the fun and the moment with them. So even the sky is already getting dark, we still want more! What good about having your own car is that you are the master of your time. Driving around the metro, and still undecided where to go next.

“BGC na lang, Venice Canal!”

And so we go to BGC! Haha madaling kausap.
The area was jam-packed; I wished it was weekedays so no one can photobomb.haha

We had some photo ops and just enjoy the night in those Venice inspired Canal inside the Mall.

We had ended this very productive Sunday with all smiles in our hearts!

All the Love,
Yannah
